Here's a quick reminder that when you use the wide angle lens adapter with your EX3 be sure to enter the camera menu and turn the "wide conversion" to the ON position. When you remove the wide lens adapter, be sure to reset this menu to OFF.
I got interesting in this matter so I started looking online. The camera manual didn't say anything about the reason why this setting even exists. I haven't found anything so far, but I learnt that Sony manufactured one type of wide angle convereter and then they pulled it off the market and then released a new converter. What is the converter that you get with the EX3 kit from PEC? is it 0.75x or 0.60x?
